In 2008, we introduced a modern version of the Sukkot water pouring ceremony
In our early years, we led community Tu B’Shevat seders. And we created a special Tu B’Shevat tree meditation one year for a class of THA students.
One Pesach, we took a hike with Congregation Or Chadash, where we made matzah the way our ancestors did as they fled Pharoah, talked about modern environmental plagues and prayed for the preservation of the earth.
We’ll take any group that asks us on a Shabbat or Havdallah hike in our beautiful desert; we’ll help with Eco-Shabbats; we’ll bring a Jewish environmental twist to programs.
